Our Story

Hi, welcome to Frozen Flame Shop — and thanks for being here.

Frozen Flame was born during one of the strangest seasons any of us have lived through. Nine months into the world being shut down by COVID-19, I found myself searching for small ways to make being indoors feel a little more special — for myself and for the people I love.

That search led me to candle making. And once I started, I couldn’t stop.

From the beginning, I had two non-negotiables: clean ingredients and luxury fragrance. No shortcuts, no fillers. I wanted candles that actually transformed a space — ones you could breathe around without worry, and ones that smelled complex, layered, and genuinely beautiful.

That’s why every Frozen Flame candle is made with 100% pure beeswax. Not paraffin. Not soy. Beeswax.

Why Beeswax?

Most candles on the market are made with paraffin — a petroleum byproduct that releases harmful chemicals and heavy soot when burned. Even soy candles, often marketed as “natural,” frequently contain paraffin blends or require additives to hold their shape.

Beeswax is different. It’s naturally superior:

Lowest toxicity of any candle wax — no toxic byproducts, no heavy soot
Air-purifying — releases negative ions that neutralize dust, mold, and odors
Longer burn time — burns slower and cleaner than paraffin or soy
Ideal for sensitive spaces — especially helpful for those with allergies, asthma, or hay fever
